How to use them
Every API runs on Apify with pay-per-result pricing. Call it over HTTP, from a scheduled task, or from Claude and other AI agents through Apify's MCP server.
Use them from Claude
Connect Apify's MCP server (mcp.apify.com) to Claude or any MCP client, then ask in plain English. For example: "Get the last 24 hours of METAR observations for KORD and KMDW and tell me the high temperature at each." Claude picks the right API, runs it and reads the JSON back.
The METAR & NWS API also calls Claude itself, if you switch it on: ask a question like "temperatures at O'Hare and Midway over the last 6 hours" and Claude turns it into the right stations and time range, then adds a short summary of the readings. The data rows stay the source of truth.
